Union Furnace enjoyed a special visit from the varsity football team, cheerleaders, band and the Chieftain mascot! UF cheered, sang the fight song and enjoyed giving high fives to the special visitors. We are already excited to do it next year! In keeping with our building theme for this month, our family literacy night featured activities involving animals. Crafts, Scavenger hunts, gross motor games, and a visit from Alley Park were some of the fun ways students read and learned about animals. Prior to the stations beginning, families were provided dinner and had an opportunity to have their pictures taken with animal-themed backgrounds. A fun night was had by all!
