California Casualty Field Marketing Manager Ashley Wood recently presented a $250 Music and Arts Grant to Green Elementary Art Teacher Julie Woodburn. Miss Woodburn plans to use the grant funds to purchase supplies for her budding art students.

At its regular meeting the Logan-Hocking Local Board of Education, first responders and community leaders recognized Middle School student Dallas Brooks for his heroic act of saving a fellow student who was choking during lunch.
At its regular meeting the Logan-Hocking Local Board of Education recognized Delaney Kelch as a National Merit Scholarship Commended Student.
