The Logan Hocking Schools preschool program have a limited amount of openings in their 4 day preschool classrooms for the 2019-2020 school year. Classrooms are housed in all 5 elementary buildings. We offer programming for any students that reside in Hocking County that are 3 years old and potty trained.

The screenings will be held at Central Elementary School, 445 Market St., Logan, Ohio. Screenings sessions will be held at 9:00 and 12:30. -Registration is required.

The Ohio Department of Education recently awarded the Logan-Hocking School District 16 additional waivers for the preschool program for the 2018-2019 school year. In order to qualify for free tuition, the student must be 4 years old by October 1, be potty trained and meet income qualifications. CENTRAL PRESCHOOL AFTERCARE RECEIVES GENEROUS DONATION Recently, Central preschool aftercare students were treated with a nice surprise from a complete stranger. Barb Delong, from Logan, OH, is in the business of crocheting hats and she generously made individual hats for each student. The students were so excited and thoroughly enjoyed picking out their favorite hat. Thank you, Barb, for helping make a difference in the lives of our students!

The screenings will be held at Chieftain Elementary School, 28296 Chieftain Drive, Logan, Ohio. Screenings sessions will be held at 8:30, 10:30 and 1:00.

The Logan Hocking Preschool Program has just received word that we have been given funding for 9 additional ECE grants. These grants are awarded to qualifying families for a full tuition waiver for 4 or 5 day preschool openings.

Students must be 3 years old by March 18, 2016, to be eligible to attend round-up. The Logan-Hocking School District will be holding preschool screenings on Friday, March 18, 2016, for any child interested in participating in preschool for the 2016-2017 school year. The screenings will be held at Chieftain Elementary School, 28296 Chieftain Drive, Logan, Ohio. Screening sessions will be held at 8:30am, 10:30am and 1:00pm.

The Logan Hocking School District Preschool program still has a few openings remaining for the 2015-2016 school year for those children that are three to five years old and are potty trained.
